What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. When you upload audio or video files for transcription, we temporarily process them through our servers.

How we use your data

• Email: Used for account authentication only.
• Audio/video files: Sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription, then immediately deleted from our storage. We do not retain your audio files.
• Transcripts: Stored in your account so you can access them. Only you can see your transcripts.

Third-party services

• Supabase: Database, authentication, and file storage.
• OpenAI: Audio transcription via the Whisper API.
• Vercel: Website hosting.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your audio files for training AI models.
• We do not track you with third-party advertising cookies.

Data deletion

You can delete any transcript from your dashboard at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove all your data.
